Yet another evening of inspiration, networking, fun games, good food and awesome company…. Our April Mix n Fix: Eco edition was the perfect arena to get to meet some of Malaysia’s Eco-entrepreneurs and learn about the initiatives they been working on towards tackling some of the pressing environmental challenges we face today.

Our  eco-speakers for the evening included, Yasmin Rasyid (EcoKnights), Zoe (Biji biji Initiative) and Faisal (Yours Truly Kedah) who spoke on a number of issues including educating the community to recycle, care about the environment and upcycling: which is a process that converts old and discarded materials into something useful and often beautiful. In addition we enjoyed a performance by dynamic duo Markiza N Peter Brown, whose music is about the environment, refugees and the threat to the planet

With Earth Day around the corner it was the perfect opportunity to get to hear and learn about how we could all play a significant role in preserving our precious planet and be more environmentally aware of some of the challenges we face today. Here at the Hub we’re in the process of greenifying, and it was inspiring to hear from some leaders from the eco sector.
