About Investment Ready Program (IRP)
The Investment Ready Program ‘Encouraging Future Generations’ by Allianz and Impact Hub is a unique acceleration program, tailored for purpose driven entrepreneurs aiming to foster social inclusion of children and youth in Brazil, Germany, Malaysia and Turkey. Over a duration of 6 months, 10 participating teams engage in a systematic review of their business model, strategy and team before crafting a validated growth and investment plan. At the end of the program, all participants have the chance to pitch in front of a jury for the Allianz Future Generations Award (40,000 €).
Warm up Event: To network and bring together parties that will be involved in the Investment Ready Program. An opportunity to showcase to potential ventures the value of applying for the acceleration program through curated content by select experts and speakers around the local impact investment market. Participants will get an insight into the Investment Ready Programme.
For the warm-up event (10 November 2017) we had the opportunity to hear from Joseph Gross, CEO of Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia and Dr Shariha Khalid CEO, Impact Hub KL. We also had a panel session featuring Datin Samantha Tee, Co-Founder of Biz Angel Network and Amy Cox-Blair, CEO of Batik Boutique which was moderated by our IR coach Mr Jeyasothy Palakrishnar. The afternoon session included clinic sessions with mentors from Allianz Malaysia on a range of topics to help the ventures build a strong application: Business Modelling; Impact Communications; Financials; People.
